The Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) Office was established with the responsibility to ensure that challenges faced by women and other vulnerable social groups are taken into consideration.
The GESI office is also responsible in spearheading strategic leadership and provide technical guidance from the gender and social inclusion perspectives in and across the program component activities ensuring that gender and social inclusion is mainstreamed into programs and policies.
The role of the GESI office is to oversee and provide strategic advice in research, development of appropriate systems, processes and policy framework in Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Implementation to all stakeholders involved and members of the community in its designated locality.
